Dark and Darker's Cleric stands apart from those in other games, like Baldur's Gate 3 Cleric. The Cleric is the only support class currently in-game, which is essential for any party going into the dungeons. They can heal party members and reduce incoming damage, but those skills are relatively low-output. A good Cleric will be getting into combat alongside the rest of their teammates to buy Dark And Darker Gold get the win.

This isn't to say the three other classes are bad. The Wizard, Rogue, and Barbarian Classes are excellent and just as varied in gameplay, but themselves more niche in their applications. Wizards can deal tremendous damage but die quickly. Rogues are amazingly flexible and fun but can fall apart at the slightest thing going wrong. Barbarians are excellent front-line fighters but can be easily outmaneuvered thanks to their slow movement and attack speed. Nevertheless, Dark and Darker is a great adventure title, even in Alpha.

Dark and Darker is an upcoming PvPvE game that allows friends to play in up to groups of three. While playing with allies, it is possible to resurrect them if players take the necessary steps to do so. Once done, players can resume exploring the dungeon together and collect the valuable loot within.

There are two known ways to revive allies in Dark and Darker. The main way any player can revive their ally is the same for everyone. By using an Altar of Resurrection, players can revive their teammates for the price of some of Dark And Darker Gold their HP. These shrines are scattered throughout levels, so players may not know the exact location right away. As of the playtest, dungeons are not procedurally generated, so once players find the location of an Altar of Resurrection, they will be able to find it again later.
